Thank You Grandma!

 Thank you Grandma for the Christmas presents! As you can see Wyatt was VERY excited, and was waiting semi-patiently to begin playing his video games. And of course Payton was beyond thrilled that she received some American Girl doll goodies. And my nativity set is already out! Merry Christmas!

 Here is our Santa table, complete with a thank you card and individual carrots for the reindeer courtesy of Payton. She even included "Olive".....

 And she made the sofa pretty for his arrival - I didn't want to sit on it after she went to bed.

The Santa House

 We visited the Santa House in Poway again this year. It was amazing, just like last year. This family does an amazing job and they are so gracious to open up their home to thousands of people each year. You can visit Santa and Mrs Claus if you choose (we skip that part since the wait is so long) - walk through the downstairs of the home, out the back yard where there are little "houses" set up and decorated and out past the pool. You end up at a hot cocoa and cookie station. I am so glad we found this house the first year we were here and can take advantage while we live here. It's definitely a San Diego holiday tradition.

December 15 : Safari Park

 This morning we ventured to the Safari Park to have breakfast with Santa. This was the view on the way in. Super low lying clouds. Payton cried "Mom, grab your camera it's beautiful!" So I did.

 Here we are waiting for the festivities to begin.

 The kids withe the big man. I will tell you that Wyatt had no plans to sit, talk or take a picture with Santa. To which I said, fine - I'm not into forcing them. However, he noticed they were handing out goody bags. He was in!

We always go on the tram when we visit the Safari Park. This is the view - the clouds were breathtaking today.

December 14

 Haven't posted in a while. We have been busy with holiday activities, however small. Today we made some items off of pinterest! Q-tip snowman painting and melted snowmen cookies!
