So over the weekend we acquired a new addition. Or he acquired us rather. "Buck" as Mike named him was wondering our neighborhood. Infested with fleas and heartworm positive this little guy immediately stole Payton's heart. So we have decided to become a two dog family. He is flea free and beginning medication for the heartworms. Prince couldn't be happier with the new playmate.
Wyatt has a newfound obsession. Hockey. Morning, noon and night this kid wants his skates on. And he rocks on them! Everyone is amazed at how good he is.
Our little girl is 7! I can't believe it. We have so enjoyed watching her grow; from a baby to a toddler to a child and now into a little girl. She is smart, energetic, imaginative, outspoken (mostly in a good way) and extremely sensitive (especially when it comes to animals and nature!). I can't wait to see what the next 7 years will bring. I thank God for allowing us to raise her, she is truly a blessing. We love you Payton Brynna!
Here is the snow they closed the schools for. One flake, that is all I could get on camera. Payton loved the day off, and Grammie landed safely to make her surprise birthday visit. But only one flake....
This past weekend we celebrated our baby's 3rd birthday. It just doesn't seem possible. God blessed us with a baby boy 3 years ago. A baby boy who spit up after every feeding, refused to sleep anywhere but the swing for 6 weeks, and had one heck of a scream cry. But we loved him just the same. Today he is a stubborn, fiercely independent (unless it's bedtime) no fear little boy. And we love him because of those things, and so much more. Happy Birthday little man!
