Moments

I love it. On a nature walk the other day. There are definately growing periods of time that the two of them play nicely, together in a room with no screaming, hitting or crying. I love those moments.

Growing

I was struck today by how big my little boy is getting. He tells me as much, just about everyday. Today he wanted to go through the "short cut" with Sissy on our way home from picking her up from school. He looked at me and said "mom, I'm a big boy now". So I let him go with his Sister. At church they told me he has outgrown the nursery. Can he really be big enough to sit with the big kids? My baby? My little boy? Just doesn't seem possible. I want to freeze time, keep him my little boy who still needs help on the swing, who still wants me to sleep with him and tell him silly stories. I miss him already.

Skating

I'm still here I promise. Still trying to catch up from the holidays I guess. I have so many pictures to post. We have been busy busy.

This is Wyatt's new favorite thing. He has become quite the hockey fan. He has been "skating" around the house for quite a while. Today however he wanted to wear his hockey skates - my hot pink slippers! As I told his mortified father, I tried giving him my blue slippers to which he said "no momma I want yours" and "follow me". So skating we went.
